Loopamp Bovine Embryo Sexing Kit
Description
Amplification of nucleic acids in cells of bovine embryo is conducted by the LAMP method. This is a LAMP-based reagent kit which uses male specific and male-female common sequences as primers for bovine embryo sexing. From whether the amplification occurred or not, embryo sexing can be achieved. By using Loopamp End Point Turbidimeter the turbidity of white precipitates of magnesium pyrophosphate, the amplification by-product, can be detected.
About the instructions for using the kit, refer to the package insert.
Characteristics
- From the amplification to detection takes about 40 minutes.
- LAMP method can achieve high specificity. The use of male specific and male-female common primers can minimize the possibility of false judgment.
- Amplification, detection and judgment can be done by one Loopamp End Point Turbidimeter. Electrophoresis is not required.
