For the purpose of foods and environment inspection
Loopamp Salmonella Detection Kit
Description
Amplification of nucleic acids with this kit is conducted by the LAMP method using Salmonella invasion gene (invA) sequence as the primers to detect Salmonella spp. in the food specimen. From whether the amplification occurred or not, the existence of Salmonella spp. can be determined.
By using Loopamp Realtime Turbidimeters to monitor the turbidity of white precipitates of magnesium pyrophosphate, the amplification by-product, the reaction can be detected.
About the instructions for using the kit, refer to the product information on this page.
The study results on previous and new extraction methods.
Characteristics
- Comparing with the conventional microorganism inspection methods in foods, the detection can be easily done with this kit in a shorter time (about 1 hr) from the sample of pre-culture media.
- Amplification and detection can be done in one single tube with the real-time turbidimeters. Electrophoresis is not required.
- Sensitivity: 60 CFU (Colony Forming Unit) / test
